Business Analyst

We’re hiring for a Technical Business Analyst to support a large, multi-stage cryptography and key management transformation. The programme is modernising how privileged access credentials are managed across a substantial server estate, moving away from long-lived static SSH keys towards centrally managed keys and, ultimately, short-lived certificate based access.

This is a hands-on technical BA role in a specialist domain. You need real cryptographic knowledge: you will be reading configuration, challenging designs and testing outcomes, not documenting what others decide.

B2B Contract - 12 months programme

Key Requirements:

• Strong working knowledge of public key cryptography: asymmetric key pairs, key exchange, digital signatures and where each is used in authentication.
• SSH authentication in depth — user and host keys, authorised keys, known hosts, agent forwarding — and the risks that long-lived static keys create at enterprise scale.
• Public Key Infrastructure: certificate authorities, trust chains and hierarchies, and the full certificate lifecycle of issuance, renewal, expiry and revocation, including CRL and OCSP.
