Business Analyst

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze MIS reports, business dashboards, and management presentations to track organizational performance.
• Conduct detailed analysis of plant profitability, product margins, manufacturing costs, and working capital efficiency.
• Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and financial planning processes.
• Perform variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to improve business performance.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, procurement, and global teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Develop financial models and analytical tools to assess business scenarios and strategic opportunities.
• Support business reviews, investment appraisals, Capex evaluations, and strategic projects.
• Monitor key business KPIs and provide timely insights for management intervention.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial and operational data used for reporting and analysis.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified in First Attempt (Mandatory).
• 3+ years of post-qualification experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Manufacturing Finance, Costing, Budgeting, and FP&A processes.
• Hands-on experience in profitability analysis, cost management, and financial planning.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI.
• Experience working on SAP or other ERP platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• High leadership potential with aspirations to grow into Business Finance, FP&A, or Strategy roles.
• Exposure to multinational organizations and global stakeholder management will be an added advantage.
