Position Summary

As the Business Analyst will work with internal stakeholders, business owners and technical delivery teams to gather, analyse, document and validate business requirements. You will identify process gaps, propose practical business improvement options, prepare business cases, support solution design and assist through implementation, testing and post-go-live review to ensure business outcomes are achieved.

Responsibilities

1.Engage with business stakeholders to elicit, clarify and prioritise business requirements, business objectives and pain points across business workflows.

2.Conduct current-state business process analysis, map existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, risks and improvement opportunities.

3.Document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process maps and business-case materials for internal and project use.

4.Translate business needs into clear requirements for technical teams, bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical delivery resources.

5.Evaluate business options, perform gap analysis, prepare cost-benefit analysis and make recommendations for process or system-driven improvements.

6.Support solution design, participate in functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), prepare test scenarios and assist with defect triage.

7.Assist in project-level activities including change management, stakeholder workshops, requirement validation and post-implementation reviews.

8.Maintain requirement documentation, process artefacts and ensure traceability of business needs through to delivered outcomes.

9.Monitor business performance metrics after solution deployment, provide feedback and recommend further iterative optimisation.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Business Analysis, Business Information Systems, Commerce, Business Administration, Management or a related business-technology field.

2. If the educational requirement is not met, a minimum 3 years of hands-on working experience as a Business Analyst, undertaking requirements gathering, business process mapping, requirements documentation and stakeholder engagement.

3. Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to communicate clearly with both non-technical business users and technical delivery teams.

4. Practical competency with business analysis tools and documentation practices.

5. Good analytical-problem-solving skills, ability to identify business risks and provide practical improvement recommendations.

Remuneration and work location:

Pay range from: $50-$54 per hour

Minimum working hours: 40 hours per week, full-time
