Required Technical Skill Set

Business analysis, credit card products and processes, card servicing, card operations, card issuance, payments, card platform transformation, requirements gathering, user stories, functional requirements, gap analysis, impact assessment, process redesign, UAT planning, test case preparation, defect management, change management, business readiness, Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery

Desired Experience Range

Minimum 3 years of Business Analyst experience, ideally within banking or financial services. Strong credit card domain expertise and prior experience in banking transformation initiatives are required.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must Have

• Minimum 3 years of Business Analyst experience.
• Strong banking or financial services experience.
• Proven credit card domain experience across card products, card servicing, card operations, payments, or card platform transformation.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, documentation standards, functional requirements and user story development.
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation or modernisation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management, discussion facilitation and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
• Fluent English and Cantonese are mandatory.

Good-to-Have

• Prior experience with major banking institution.
• Experience in cards project or digital transformation initiatives.
• Mandarin capability is advantageous but not required.

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements for credit card products and processes.
• Facilitate requirements discussions with business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams and delivery partners.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements and user stories.
• Support gap analysis, impact assessment and business process redesign activities.
• Work closely with technology and delivery teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support UAT planning, test case preparation, execution and defect management.
• Assist with change management and business readiness activities.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure alignment with programme objectives.
