Business Analyst

About the role

BII Transit Systems (HK) Company Limited is seeking a Business Analyst. This role serves as a crucial bridge between client management, project stakeholders, and technical delivery teams. You will focus on driving business development initiatives, gathering strategic requirements for intelligent transit and software solutions, and facilitating clear, effective communication across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Liaison & Business Development: Act as the central point of contact between project stakeholders, external clients, vendors, and internal development teams to identify growth opportunities and align project goals.

• Requirements & Workflow Mapping: Gather, analyze, and document business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process workflows for development teams.

• Gap & Opportunity Analysis: Conduct comprehensive gap analyses to evaluate discrepancies between business expectations and technical capabilities, providing strategic recommendations.

• Cross-Team Facilitation: Translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements for developers while conveying technical feasibility and timelines to non-technical stakeholders

• UAT & Delivery Coordination: Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with clients and stakeholders to gather feedback and confirm that delivered solutions satisfy business objectives.

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Degree or above in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to manage client expectations and build strong working relationships across diverse groups.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and data analysis abilities to identify business challenges and present actionable solutions.
• Highly adaptable to changing client needs, detail-oriented, user-centric, and skilled at cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua is desirable.

Working Relationships

In this role, you will work directly with key company members, development leads, third-party suppliers, and delegated customer representatives.

• Be willing to travel overseas for project assignments
