About the Role

iBOS is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team and work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, QA teams, project managers, and other relevant stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable software requirements.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, supporting solution development and testing, and ensuring that delivered solutions align with business objectives.

The position level will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience, business analysis capabilities, technical understanding, and overall suitability for the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements, user stories, functional requirements, and functional specifications.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, project managers, QA teams, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Analyze existing business processes, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and recommend technology-enabled solutions.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and ensure alignment throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, stakeholder discussions, interviews, and workshops as required.
• Prepare and maintain business analysis documentation, including process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and requirement documents.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to clarify requirements, support test case preparation, and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Monitor and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle to ensure delivered solutions align with approved business objectives.
• Review proposed solutions and provide business and functional inputs to ensure they address identified requirements.
• Identify and communicate business risks, dependencies, gaps, assumptions, and improvement opportunities.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve product value, business processes, and operational efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating existing processes and proposing scalable and sustainable solutions.
• Participate in product discussions, project reviews, sprint meetings, requirement workshops, and other relevant project activities.
• Ensure clear communication of requirements and timely resolution of requirement-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support stakeholders and project teams in achieving successful implementation of business and technology solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related discipline .
• Candidates from other relevant academic backgrounds with strong business analysis and technology skills may also be considered.

Experience

• 1–4 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, Product Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Candidates will be considered for the appropriate level of Executive, Senior Executive, or Assistant Manager based on their relevant experience, capabilities, and overall suitability.
• Experience working on software development projects, ERP solutions, SaaS products, or technology-driven business solutions will be an advantage.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including development, QA, product, and project management teams is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of Business Analysis and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .
• Strong requirement gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation skills.
• Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into clear functional requirements.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and process documentation.
• Good understanding of UAT, test cases, and software quality processes .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Bangla and English .
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requirements and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace , or similar productivity tools.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Trello, or other project/requirement management tools will be an advantage.
• Ability to create and understand process flows, workflows, and business process documentation.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering quality work.
