TCP is partnered with a fast-growing healthcare AI startup in Austin that’s using AI to streamline complex healthcare workflows and reduce administrative burden. They’re hiring a Project Manager to support client delivery and help drive technology implementations from planning through launch.

We’re hiring a Business Analyst to translate complex healthcare workflows into clear requirements and AI-enabled solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer and internal discovery sessions to understand objectives, workflows, pain points, business rules, exceptions, and success criteria, translating findings into BRDs, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and solution mockups.
• Analyze complex healthcare processes, including UM, Prior Authorization, Appeals & Grievances and claims.
• Partner with Clinical SMEs to validate clinical rules and edge cases, create process maps using tools such as Mural, Lucidchart, or Visio.
• Identify opportunities for rules, automation, and AI, including human-in-the-loop processes, and collaborate with Solution Architects on solutions.
• Translate requirements into Jira tickets, recommend priorities, define KPIs and success criteria, and work closely with stakeholders.
• Own work end to end by maintaining requirements, identifying gaps and scope changes, supporting release readiness, keeping stakeholders aligned.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of relevant experience in healthcare business analysis, consulting, healthtech, healthcare operations, implementation, health informatics, solutions analysis, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare operations and direct experience with payer processes, including translating workflows into clear BRDs and requirements.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and appropriate PHI handling in a healthcare environment.
• Experience gathering requirements and creating BRDs, workflows, business rules, user stories, acceptance criteria, and current/future-state process maps.
• Strong client-facing, written, and verbal communication skills, with familiarity using Jira or similar tools.
• Practical experience using AI tools professionally, curiosity about AI and automation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment with evolving priorities and processes.
