Business Analyst

About the role

This is a Business Analyst role requiring 7+ years of experience. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, and translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements. You will work closely with development, testing, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle, with a focus on insurance domain expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Conduct requirement elicitation workshops, interviews, and stakeholder discussions
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), user stories, process flows, and use cases
• Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements
• Work closely with development, testing, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Support UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution
• Track requirements, changes, and project deliverables
• Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams
• Ensure solutions meet business objectives and stakeholder expectations

About you

• 7+ years of experience
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
• Experience in process mapping and business process re-engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to create wireframes, workflows, and business documentation
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• Knowledge of insurance domain and insurance products
