Business Analyst

Business Analyst responsible for optimizing and digitizing asset-related business processes within a complex energy environment. The role bridges business needs and IT by translating requirements into practical solutions, supporting implementation, testing, change management, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Model and redesign business processes.
• Identify business needs and translate them into requirements, epics and user stories.
• Challenge and advise stakeholders on processes and requirements.
• Develop business information models.
• Harmonize processes across departments and international teams.
• Align and validate requirements with business and IT.
• Validate functional IT analyses and test implemented solutions.
• Support change management, including training and documentation.
• Support users after implementation.
• Contribute to digitalization of maintenance, safety, planning and operational processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant Business Analyst experience.
• Excellent Dutch, French and English.
• Master’s degree in a technical or economic field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of BPMN and UML.
• Basic SAP PM knowledge or willingness to learn it.
• Experience with Enterprise Architect, Jira and TFS DevOps is a plus.
• Experience in the electricity/energy sector or industrial asset maintenance is a plus.
