Duties

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for various projects and initiatives.
• Design and develop comprehensive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting platforms to visualize key metrics effectively.
• Conduct data analysis utilizing SQL databases, R, Python, Excel data analysis techniques, and other analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Manage the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, system design, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes using Talend or similar tools to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources like Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL databases.
• Create scalable data models and database designs that support business intelligence initiatives while ensuring data integrity and security.
• Facilitate Agile project management practices by participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst with a strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and requirements gathering techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL query management for data extraction and manipulation across multiple database systems such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes along with experience in software development lifecycle analysis within an Agile environment.
• Technical proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for advanced analytics tasks; familiarity with VBA for Excel automation is a plus.
• Strong understanding of database design principles and data model development to support complex reporting needs.
• Experience working with ETL tools like Talend or Bash (Unix shell scripting) for data integration workflows.
• Ability to analyze large datasets using Excel data analysis techniques combined with expertise in business intelligence concepts.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with linked data concepts and the ability to develop dashboards that incorporate interconnected datasets for comprehensive analysis.

Pay: $79,900.00 - $96,300.00 per year
