Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with expertise in financial services processes, customer verification, compliance operations and business requirement management.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements from business and technology stakeholders.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze customer onboarding, verification and compliance-related business processes.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis and process improvement assessments.
• Coordinate with business, technology, risk and operations teams.
• Conduct requirement-gathering sessions and stakeholder discussions.
• Support UAT planning, execution, defect tracking and business sign-off.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into functional specifications.
• Perform data analysis and validation using SQL.
• Maintain project documentation using JIRA and Confluence.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong experience in Banking, Financial Services or FinTech.
• Hands-on experience in KYC, AML, CDD, EDD and customer onboarding processes.
• Understanding of customer due diligence and risk assessment.
• Strong SQL knowledge, including joins, aggregations and subqueries.
• Experience with Excel and Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent documentation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of RBI and FATF regulatory guidelines.
• Exposure to sanctions screening, transaction monitoring and adverse media.
• Experience with financial compliance platforms and data integrations.
• Knowledge of APIs and data validation.
• CBAP, CCBA or equivalent certification.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT or a related discipline.
• MBA or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
