🚀Then what?

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our fintech client , working in a fast-moving environment focused on large-scale payment platforms .

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Managers, SMEs and Business stakeholders to understand, analyse and document business requirements and context.
• Analyse new features, existing functionality, operational improvements and business cases, challenging requests where appropriate based on data and business value.
• Perform GAP analysis and assess the impact of changes on existing systems, processes, clients and partners.
• Capture clear and concise functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring aspects such as availability, performance, security, scalability and operational supportability are considered.
• Ensure payment regulatory requirements and internal risk controls are reflected in requirements and solutions.
• Assist Product Managers with backlog prioritisation and the definition/refinement of user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Evaluate business and technical solution proposals to ensure they meet requirements, follow best practices and comply with relevant country regulations.
• Facilitate workshops and product walkthroughs with clients and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Test/QA teams to ensure test scripts align with user story acceptance criteria.
• Support the transition from legacy platforms to microservice and cloud-based architectures.
• Produce clear documentation, diagrams and other relevant project artifacts, as well as materials supporting training and communication.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, collaborating with internal functions such as Finance, Compliance & Risk, Legal and Operations, as well as clients and third parties.

Technical Skills:

• At least 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
• Experience in mobile payments .
• Understanding and hands-on experience with payment tokenisation (Google, Apple, Samsung )
• Experience with technical system-to-system integration concepts such as REST APIs and webhooks , with exposure to API testing tools such as Postman .
• SQL knowledge for retrieving data from databases.
• Experience with story writing in BDD.
• Experience working in an Agile environment .
• Good mapping skills and understanding of business processes.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and parallel workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working directly with international clients and third parties in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to produce clear and concise documentation, supported by diagrams where needed.
