Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-driven Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technical solutions across our banking technology portfolio. Whether you’re growing your career or bringing deep domain expertise, you’ll play a key role in translating customer requirements into functional solutions: supporting delivery, QA, and product teams from discovery through UAT and beyond. This role offers exposure to core banking, trade finance, deposits, loans, and payments, with opportunities to contribute to presales, product iteration, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Requirements & Analysis: Gather and analyse customer business requirements, identify pain points, and translate them into clear, actionable functional requirements.
• Documentation: Prepare, maintain, and update FSDs, requirement specifications, gap-analysis reports, user manuals, training materials, and test cases.
• Reviews & Sign-Off: Conduct requirement walkthroughs, coordinate internal and external reviews, and drive timely customer sign-off.
• Testing Support: Support QA, FAT, SIT, and UAT activities, including test planning, test-case preparation, execution, issue tracking, and quality monitoring.
• Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customers to strengthen system understanding and support effective UAT preparation and execution.
• Product Iteration: Consolidate common requirements across projects and collaborate with Product Management and R&D on enhancements and continuous iteration.
• Presales Support: Contribute to product demonstrations, customer Q&A, POC execution, RFP responses, and initial solution preparation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders while maintaining proper documentation, version control, and knowledge sharing.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience:

1. Junior: 3–5 years in Business Analysis, Functional Consulting, Banking Technology, or similar roles.
2. Senior: 5–8 years in Business Analysis, Functional Consulting, Banking Technology, or similar roles.
3. Fresh graduates with a relevant Banking/Finance degree are welcome to apply.

• Banking Domain Knowledge: Hands-on experience or strong functional knowledge in at least one of the following:

1. Trade Finance: Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Collections, Supply Chain Finance, or related trade products.
2. Deposits: CASA, Term Deposits, account lifecycle, interest and fee processing.
3. Loans: Loan origination, credit assessment, disbursement, repayment schedules, collateral, or delinquency management.
4. Payments: Domestic or cross-border payments, transfers, clearing, settlement, SWIFT, or ISO 20022.

• Industry Exposure: Experience in banking systems, core banking, digital banking, payments, lending, deposits, or related financial services is highly preferred.
• Core Skills: Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, functional documentation, and FSD preparation.
• Testing Familiarity: Familiar with software delivery and testing processes such as FAT, SIT, and UAT.
• Communication: Able to engage effectively with customers, understand business pain points, and translate them into practical system requirements.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Teamwork: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams including Product, R&D, Sales, PMO, and Delivery.
• Nice to Have: Experience in presales, RFP responses, POC support, or solution demonstrations.
• Language: Good command of English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is required
• Bonus: Exposure to AI tools for documentation, analysis, or productivity enhancement is a plus.
