Business Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst to join a leading organization within the technology and customer solutions industry. The Business Analyst will play a key role in driving customer portal and software-related initiatives by partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements, document business processes, and support project delivery from conception through implementation. This role is fully remote and operates on EST business hours.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:

• Lead business requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional requirements, and related project documentation.
• Create and manage use cases, user stories, and process maps to support project objectives.
• Coordinate and execute testing efforts including test planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect tracking.
• Develop end-user documentation, training materials, and process guides.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and successfully implemented.
• Support customer portal, software development, and system integration projects from initiation through deployment.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and requirement review sessions with business partners.

Qualifications of the Business Analyst:

• 4+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting software, integration, or customer-facing technology projects.
• Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting business requirements, including creation of BRDs.
• Strong experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and documentation.
• Hands-on experience developing use cases, test plans, test scripts, and supporting UAT activities.
• Experience creating user documentation, training materials, and process guides.
• Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
• Experience supporting customer portal implementations or enhancements is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation for the Business Analyst includes:

• Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience
