Business Analyst

The successful candidate will play a key role throughout the solution assessment, procurement and implementation lifecycle, helping to define requirements, evaluate potential solutions, coordinate delivery activities and support the transition to the new platform.

Duties:

• Lead workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather, analyse and document business, operational, data and reporting requirements, ensuring alignment across relevant teams.
• Assess potential investment management platforms against business needs, supporting the preparation of business cases, RFIs, RFPs, vendor evaluations and solution recommendations.
• Review existing workflows, system functionality, data flows, integrations and reporting capabilities to identify gaps, dependencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate project activities, monitor milestones and deliverables, and track risks, issues and dependencies to support delivery within agreed timeframes.
• Develop use cases, acceptance criteria and test scenarios, coordinate system and user acceptance testing, and support business readiness, training and implementation activities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst role
• 2+ years' experience in project coordination or project management, including tracking deliverables, timelines, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Proven experience preparing business cases, RFIs and RFPs, developing evaluation criteria, assessing vendor proposals and supporting solution selection.
• Knowledge of financial markets, investment operations or investment management systems would be highly advantageous.
• Experience with investment platforms, data warehouses, reporting solutions and system integrations is desirable
