Business Analyst - Contract

HRM Search Partners are looking for a Business Analyst (Process Mapping & Assessment) to help evaluate, streamline, and optimise core business processes for a client based in North Dublin.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analysing current-state operational workflows, mapping business processes, identifying inefficiencies or bottlenecks, and building clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.

You will bridge the gap between operational stakeholders and strategic goals, ensuring processes are scalable, lean, and aligned with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Mapping & Assessment: Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to document and map end-to-end current-state ("As-Is") workflows.
• Gap & Efficiency Analysis: Evaluate existing processes to identify operational bottlenecks, redundancies, and risks; design optimised target-state ("To-Be") process flows.
• Report Generation & Delivery: Build comprehensive assessment reports, executive summaries, and analytical frameworks detailing data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with senior leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and drive consensus.
• Metrics & KPIs: Define process performance metrics to measure productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement post-implementation.

Requirements & Experience

• Experience: 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, or Management Consultant with a strong emphasis on process mapping and assessment.
• Process Modelling: Expertise using process mapping tools and notation standards (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, Bizagi, BPMN).
• Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to synthesise complex operational data into clear, high-impact business reports and presentations.
• Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Methodologies: Practical experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile business analysis frameworks is a strong plus.
