Are you a hands-on Business Analyst who enjoys turning complex business requirements into clear, practical digital solutions?

We're partnering with a well-established Australian business that's investing heavily in its digital future. With a strong presence in B2B, the business is modernising its existing eCommerce operations while expanding into the B2C space, including the development of new consumer-facing websites.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing digital team, work closely with the Head of Digital and contribute to projects that will directly improve the customer experience.

The Opportunity

As the Digital Business Analyst, you'll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring business needs are translated into clear, actionable requirements.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on requirements gathering, documentation and process improvement. You'll have the opportunity to work across both established digital platforms and exciting new eCommerce initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements across digital projects.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and functional specifications.
• Collaborate closely with developers, project managers and internal stakeholders to support successful delivery.
• Facilitate workshops to understand business challenges, identify opportunities and clarify requirements.
• Support Agile delivery processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning and UAT.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Contribute to improvements across existing B2B platforms and new B2C eCommerce initiatives.
• Ensure requirements are clearly documented, communicated and understood by delivery teams.

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 3–5 years' experience in a Business Analyst, Digital BA or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience gathering requirements and producing clear, structured documentation.
• Confident creating user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications and process maps.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments, ideally using Jira and Confluence.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills.
• An understanding of digital platforms, software development and the delivery lifecycle.
• A proactive, organised and collaborative approach, with the confidence to work independently.

Experience within eCommerce, retail, wholesale or distribution would be highly regarded, but isn't essential.

Exposure to Magento, ERP, PIM, CRM or system integrations would be advantageous, although deep technical expertise isn't required.

Location: Melbourne's eastern suburbs. Currently based in Blackburn North, with a planned relocation to Boronia in early 2027.

Working arrangements: Predominantly office-based with some flexibility.
