Business Analyst (Digital Transformation & Process Optimization)

Are you an experienced Business Analyst passionate about digital transformation, process improvement, and bridging the gap between business and IT? We are looking for a skilled professional to support large-scale digitalization initiatives within an asset-intensive operational environment.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving digital transformation initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, quality, safety, and operational excellence. You will work closely with business stakeholders, end users, and IT teams to analyze business needs, redesign processes, and translate requirements into effective digital solutions.

You will support projects focused on areas such as:

• Digitalization and optimization of operational planning processes
• Automation of critical operational workflows
• Improvement of health, safety, and compliance-related processes
• Development of business processes supporting offshore and field operations
• Enhancement of administrative and maintenance processes through SAP-based solutions
• End-to-end process harmonization and standardization initiatives

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, model, and optimize business processes.
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to identify challenges and opportunities.
• Gather, challenge, and document business requirements using Epics and User Stories.
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements for IT teams.
• Develop business information and process models.
• Act as the liaison between business users and IT delivery teams.
• Validate requirements, functional analyses, and solution designs.
• Support testing activities, including UAT and release validation.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and facilitate decision-making.
• Contribute to change management activities, including user training and communication.
• Provide post-implementation support and guidance to business users.
• Promote process harmonization across departments and international teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Proven experience in business process modeling, requirements gathering, and process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to challenge existing practices.
• Experience working in complex stakeholder environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
• Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Knowledge of BPMN and UML.
• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM).
• Experience with Enterprise Architect, Jira, and Azure DevOps/TFS.
• Experience in utilities, energy, industrial, or asset management environments.
• Knowledge of maintenance operations and industrial asset lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation programs.
