Business Analyst (E-Commerce)

My client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst (E-Commerce) to support the enhancement, implementation, and maintenance of e-commerce platforms and digital solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technical teams to gather requirements, drive system improvements, and ensure smooth delivery of business-critical initiatives throughout the full system development lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements for e-commerce platforms and related applications.
• Act as the liaison between business users, operations teams, and IT stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage projects through the full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and solution design to system rollout and post-implementation support.
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, and user stories to support system development.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into system solutions.
• Plan, execute, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system testing, and regression testing activities.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system and operational issues in a timely manner.
• Provide ongoing production support and maintenance for e-commerce systems and business applications.
• Monitor system performance and recommend process and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
• Support system deployment, user training, and change management activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and business adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 4-6 years of Business Analyst experience within an e-commerce environment (mandatory).
• Proven experience managing projects across the full SDLC, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
• Strong experience in business requirements analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on experience in UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and testing coordination.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
• Experience supporting e-commerce operations, order management, payment, customer, or digital commerce platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (spoken and written).
