Business Analyst (Generative AI/Gen AI project)

Our client is now looking for talents to join their team:

Goal of the Project:

●      Support the delivery of a portfolio of AI and digital transformation projects across business and technology domains, including risk and safety knowledge management, AI infrastructure enablement, operational AI capabilities, knowledge assistants, automation, and other emerging AI initiatives.

●      Coordinate AI projects and use cases across different domains, from requirement clarification, feasibility assessment, planning and vendor coordination through testing, stakeholder review, rollout and closure.

Primary Responsibilities:

●      Business analysis and backlog management: Engage business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document requirements; business process streamlining / re-engineering; translate needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and prioritised backlog items

●      Testing and quality assurance: Prepare test plans, test scenarios and acceptance criteria; coordinate functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing; validate results, document evidence and track defects through closure.

●      Release management and communication: Maintain sprint release logs and coordinate release announcements, clearly documenting released features, fixes, known issues, impacts and follow-up actions.

●      AI solution lifecycle and operational support: Support the lifecycle management of implemented AI solutions, including enhancement planning, incident and defect follow-up, regression impact assessment, model or solution changes, operational readiness and transition to support teams.

●      Project management: Maintain the project status and financial reporting, Project Steering Committee materials and other required project documents; monitor scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions and actions.

●      Governance and traceability: Maintain end-to-end traceability among requirements, user stories, test cases, defects, releases and approvals, and ensure project records are complete and current.

●      Stakeholder and vendor coordination: Act as the liaison among business users, product owners, development teams, vendors and support teams to maintain alignment on priorities, deliverables and operational issues.

Secondary Responsibilities

●      Agile delivery and Scrum coordination: Coordinate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives; consolidate sprint obstacles, follow up owners and support timely resolution.

●      Documentation and user enablement: Create and maintain user guides, operating procedures, release notes and supporting materials; conduct walkthroughs or knowledge-transfer sessions as required.

●      Ad hoc support: Provide analysis, coordination and management reporting for AI-related initiatives and operational matters as assigned.

Requirements:

l   Bachelor's degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

l   Certification in business analysis, project management or Agile/Scrum methodology, or equivalent practical experience.

l   5+ years of experience in business analysis, IT project delivery or digital transformation is a must

l   Experience in requirements management, Agile delivery, testing and stakeholder coordination.

l   Sound knowledge of business requirements analysis, process improvement, product delivery and change adoption.

l   Ability to identify business opportunities and translate them into technology solutions.

l   Strong on Gen AI Prompt Engineering & AI Governance is a must

l   Strong on Generative AI project and Vendor Management is a must

l   Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Boards or equivalent tools (e.g. JIRA); ability to prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, test plans, test cases, defect logs, release logs, dashboards and project reports.

l   Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

l   Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

l   Ability to manage multiple priorities with ownership.

l   Fluent in written and spoken English and Cantonese.

l   Strong interest in AI and digital innovation; willingness to learn emerging technologies and platform capabilities.

l   Advantaged experience (Not a must to have all):

• Experience delivering AI, Generative AI, chatbot, knowledge‑management, workflow‑automation and enterprise‑platform initiatives
• Familiarity with Generative AI, large language models, RAG, chatbot platforms, model evaluation, Microsoft Azure, SharePoint Online, Power Platform and Microsoft Copilot
• Understanding of AI platform governance, Responsible AI, AI solution deployment practices, data privacy, cybersecurity and risk management
• Proven capability coordinating vendors and cross‑functional teams; leading workshops, user training, executive‑level presentations and organisational change activities
• Track record supporting successful product releases and operational services with measurable outcomes
