Business Analyst (Project-based)

About the role

Rising Tide Digital, Inc. is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our growing team on a full-time basis. This is an onsite position based in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will be responsible for analysing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating requirements into actionable solutions that drive organisational success. This position is integral to our strategy of delivering high-quality digital transformation initiatives and maintaining our competitive edge in the technology sector.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about complex business challenges
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies such as process mapping, data flow diagrams, and user story development
• Experience with requirements management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms)
• Knowledge of system development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into business language and vice versa
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Experience in the financial services, healthcare, or software development sectors is preferred but not essential
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and SQL is advantageous

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with organisational objectives
• Conduct process assessments and workflow analysis to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
• Create detailed specifications, wireframes, and process documentation to communicate requirements to development and implementation teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and management to define project scope and deliverables
• Perform gap analysis between current state processes and desired future state solutions
• Participate in requirements validation and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
• Support the implementation of new systems and processes, providing training and documentation to end-users
• Maintain business requirements documentation and ensure continuous improvement of processes
