Business Analyst / Solution Analyst

Who We Are Looking For:

We are currently seeking a highly competent and experienced Business Analyst / Solution Analyst to join NTT DATA’s global payment hub, which is headquartered in Hong Kong. As a Business Analyst / Solution Analyst, you will turn business requirements into well-designed application solutions. By analyzing needs, exploring technology options, and producing clear functional design documents, you will bridge business and technical teams—ensuring smooth development and high-quality delivery.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and define operational objectives by gathering and validating requirements, including output formats and expected results
• Design end-to-end solutions, including workflows, system architecture, network diagrams, and logic flows based on system capabilities
• Develop clear and detailed functional specifications, including requirements documents, RESTful API specifications, and acceptance criteria
• Oversee system integration, testing (QA), and deployment to ensure smooth and quality delivery
• Continuously enhance system performance by reviewing current practices and recommending improvements
• Ensure solutions are sustainable and compliant with relevant regulations (e.g., data governance, security standards such as PCI-DSS)
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and provide regular status updates with actionable recommendations
• Strengthen processes and controls by identifying gaps and proposing improvements
• Maintain strong stakeholder engagement through proactive and effective communication
• Prepare analytical and technical reports to support decision-making and identify trends
• Support team collaboration and contribute to overall team success
• Provide data-driven recommendations to senior management and actively support implementation of approved changes

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study;
• 1 – 2 years of relevant experience;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical solutions;
• Technical aptitude and willingness to learn technologies such as Java, JavaScript, MySQL, and cloud platforms;
• Experience in process analysis, solution design, and documentation within enterprise-level projects;
• Familiarity with UI/UX concepts, including application flows and basic mockup design;
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills;
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively;
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment;
• Proactive mindset with strong critical thinking skills;
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, and
• Prior exposure to the payments industry or regulated environments is an advantage.
