Business Analyst / System Analyst (BA/SA)

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst / System Analyst (BA/SA) to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional and system specifications, and collaborating with business users, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct requirement elicitation workshops, interviews, and discussions with business users.
• Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD).
• Analyze current business processes and recommend process improvements.
• Create business process flows, use cases, user stories, and workflow diagrams.
• Ensure business requirements are clearly understood and aligned with project objectives.

System Analysis

• Translate business requirements into functional and system requirements.
• Prepare System Requirement Specifications (SRS) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
• Analyze system impacts and dependencies across applications.
• Design system workflows, data flows, and integration requirements.
• Create UML diagrams, sequence diagrams, use case diagrams, and data mapping documents.
• Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements and support solution design.

Project Delivery & Testing Support

• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, vendors, and project stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Support preparation of test scenarios, test cases, SIT, and UAT activities.
• Facilitate issue resolution and change request management.
• Assist in deployment activities and post-implementation support.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or BA/SA role.
• Hands-on experience in requirement gathering and system analysis.
• Experience working in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environments.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, Digital Platforms, or Enterprise Systems is an advantage.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Experience in preparing BRD, SRS, FSD, and User Stories.
• Knowledge of UML, Use Case Diagram, Sequence Diagram, and Activity Diagram.
• Understanding of database concepts and SQL queries.
• Experience with API integration, RESTful services, and system interfaces.
• Knowledge of data mapping, system integration, and application workflows.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Draw.io, and Microsoft Office.
