Business Analyst Tester

Location: Brussels On site

Mission period Expected Start date: Asap

Duration: 6 months (Depending on project evolution, extension is possible)

Language requirement: English + Dutch and French, one fluent, the other good at least

Context of the mission / Objective(s) of the job

The department Business Solutions within Broker Channel and Non Life developments conceives the most appropriate solutions to support business entities (marketing, sales, operations, …) The main activities of Business Solutions teams are :

− Project management within business solutions and/or across the organization

− Conception and mastering of solutions (ideation, requirements, …)

− Drive delivery of solutions implemented in IT department

− Testing, Delivery and Support of solutions

− Relation management within organization or external to organization Therefor the Business Solutions management team is looking for a Business Analyst tester on a major transformation program Tomorrow Claims.

• Understanding business Non-life process and products : Mid-level (2 y - 5 y)

• Experience in insurance (IARD) – 2 years minimum

• Experienced in application testing : Mid-level (2 y - 5 y)

• Experienced in writing Test cases scenario : Mid-level (2 y - 5 y)

• Experienced in writing “Note de gestion” : Mid-level (2 y - 5 y)

Preferable

• Business Analyst officer

Technical experience required (hard skills related to physical or digital tools) Mandatory Years • Excellent knowledge in Excel : Mid-level (2 y - 5 y)

• Good knowledge in PowerPoint : Mid-level (2 y - 5 y)

• Able to create and execute test plans and scenarios : Mid-level (2 y - 5 y)

• Interest in new technologies/Tools for communication and feed-back : Mid-level (2 y - 5 y)

Objective of the job Test engineer/analyst:

- Being SPOC for users :

o Provide support to users, answer questions on how the application works

o Analyse requests and classify them (improvement, bugs, adaptation process, etc.)

- Participate in the development of the testing strategy: creation of a test plan based on the test strategy and project requirements (organization, data structuring).

- Set up a reporting system based on the test plan in order to obtain a quick view of the progress of the tests and to validate the adaptations.

- Carry out tests on existing Non Life Broker systems: Validate the proper functioning of the Non Life Broker assets (no regression test).

- Carry out tests on the application : validate the correct operation of the new adaptations (UAT) + Implement Change requests (maintenance)

- Ensuring quality delivery

- Detect and track problems (bugs) in the application.

- Acquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge:

o on the new application,

o other applications revolving around claims and forming part of the Claims portfolio

o the business procedures
