Business Analyst

Context

Collective.work is building the next-generation AI-powered sourcing platform for recruiters. The mission is to help talent teams identify, engage, and hire the best candidates faster through intelligent automation and data-driven insights. As the company grows, it aims to strengthen the bridge between business needs, data, and product execution.

Missions

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from internal and external stakeholders
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories
• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• Support product teams in prioritization and roadmap planning
• Define and track KPIs to measure product and business performance
• Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to ensure data availability and quality
• Evaluate processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency
• Act as a liaison between business, product, and technical teams

• SQL and data analysis tools (Excel, BI tools like Looker, Metabase, Tableau)
• Documentation tools (Notion, Confluence)
• Product & project management tools (Jira, Asana)

1. 2–5+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or similar roles
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
3. Experience working with data and defining business metrics
4. Ability to translate complex concepts into clear requirements
5. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
6. Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, data)
7. Attention to detail and structured thinking
