Business Analyst(Contract,Retail)

About the role

A Business Analyst who writes clear requirements including user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases, working closely with the Product Owner to turn their direction into detail. The BA makes requirements buildable while the PO sets what and why.

Key responsibilities

• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases
• Work closely with the Product Owner to translate direction into detailed requirements
• Sit between business team (Commercial/Merchandising/Finance) and Tech to translate both ways
• Participate in agile ceremonies including grooming, sprint planning, and demos
• Document decisions so rules don't live in someone's head
• Conduct manual testing or training to users
• Coordinate with International vendor, must communicate in English

About you

• Exposure to BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Databricks)
• Comfortable in agile environments
• Understands retail basics: cost, price, margin, markdown, GP%, discount mechanics
• BG with pricing or promo systems before (price master, promo engine, POS, loyalty) - advantageous
• BG Experience in EDI or technical background - advantageous
