Business Analytics Officer

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for transforming data into knowledge and insights via descriptive and inferential analytics to support Consumer Banking Segment (Credit Cards/ Loan Products) in line with strategic decision-making and key performance indicators in the following areas:

• Credit Policy development, analysis, and adjustments
• Application Scorecard development and maintenance
• Behavioral Scorecard development and maintenance
• Collection Scorecard development and maintenance
• Portfolio Management Analytics to support: New Card Acquisition Programs (Customer Lead generation from RBB Clients); Customer Retention Programs o Cross/Up-Sell Programs; Usage Programs; Exit Programs
• Customer, Channel, and Product Profitability
• Campaign Management - Omnibus programs post campaign analysis; Test programs post campaign analysis
• Customer Lead Generation Reports

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in any business related field.

• Preferably Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering
• Professional qualification is an advantage (e.g. CPA/ MBA/ CFA).

Professional Experience:

At least three (3) years of relevant experience in the areas of Business Analytics, Data Intelligence, and or Cards/Loans Portfolio Management and Analytics, with entrepreneurial mindset and good inter-personal and communication/ presentation skills.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Technical skills - Python, R, SQL or SAS, Power BI or any BI tools
• Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, communication and collaboration skills
• Strong knowledge in Cards/ Loans Business depending on assignment
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations. (i.e. BSP, MasterCard)
• Must be able to handle complex tasks and projects simultaneously
• Must be able to work under progressively tight turn-around time to meet customer expectations
• Must be a team player with high level of maturity to deal with internal and external issues
• Ability and flexibility to adjust and adapt to the continuous changes, improvement and innovations
• Must have a keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy in producing reports/ MIS
• Must have analytical and have the ability to articulate Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats, and other relevant and actionable insights from reports generated
• General awareness of the banking business or other banking products and services
