Business Associate

About the role

A Business Associate role supporting Relationship Managers and Advisors in a financial services environment, with responsibilities spanning business development, client onboarding, market analysis, project coordination, and operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers and Advisors in preparing pitch books, market research, client proposals, and portfolio review presentations for corporate and HNW clients
• Coordinate the end-to-end client onboarding process (KYC/AML checks) in strict accordance with SFC regulations and internal compliance policies
• Conduct regular market research, competitor analysis, and financial modeling to identify new business opportunities and trends in the Hong Kong and global capital markets
• Act as a key coordinator for cross-departmental projects, such as system upgrades, new product launches, and digital transformation initiatives
• Assist in daily business operations, trade support, and client inquiry resolutions to ensure a seamless client experience

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• 1–3 years of experience in securities firms, wealth management, private banking, or professional consulting
• Fresh graduates with exceptional internship experience in reputable financial institutions will be considered
• Strong analytical mind with excellent numerical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
