Business Broker Agent

Help business owners in Central Florida sell the companies they built. First Choice Business Brokers is adding Business Broker Agents to our Orlando / Lake Nona office. We're looking for accountants and CPAs, banking, lending and finance professionals, former small-business owners and commercial real estate professionals who want to build a career in business brokerage.

About us

First Choice Business Brokers helps owners sell their businesses and helps buyers acquire them. Our Orlando / Lake Nona office, led by Owner and Managing Business Broker Daniel Vasconcelos, is part of a national network founded in 1994. Each office is independently owned and operated.

What you will do

• Meet business owners, understand their goals and help them prepare their company for sale
• Market listings confidentially and qualify interested buyers
• Guide buyers from first conversation to offer
• Coordinate negotiations and due diligence with attorneys, accountants and lenders
• Protect the confidentiality of sellers, buyers and transactions
• Build your own network of owners, referral partners and buyers in Central Florida

Who we are looking for

• Background in accounting / CPA services, business lending, banking, finance, small-business ownership or commercial real estate
• Legal professionals with transactional experience are considered case by case
• Active Florida real estate license preferred. Candidates who fit the profile and are completing the license are welcome to apply; the license is required before acting as an agent
• Residential real estate agents are not part of this search
• Comfortable talking with owners about revenue, operations, valuation and cash flow
• Self-driven and comfortable generating your own opportunities
• Professional English, written and spoken. Spanish or Portuguese is a plus

Compensation

Independent contractor role with commission-based earnings. Business sales have long cycles, and there is no salary or guaranteed income. Details are shared during the interview process.
