Business Control Specialist

Our manufacturing Partner, which has an international background and a significant domestic presence, is looking for a colleague to join their controlling team in a Business Partner position.

This is a hands-on controlling and business partner role, where the main focus is on tracking manufacturing performance, along with related development, cost optimization, and planning tasks. The new colleague will fill a key position, working closely with the international headquarters, thereby providing genuine support to the management and cross-functional areas.

Responsibilities belonging to the position:

• Annual planning and forecasting: Profit, balance sheet, and investment planning for the assigned areas, as well as preparing monthly forecasts.
• Monthly closing and reporting: Active participation in monthly closing activities and compiling management reporting packages.
• Variance analysis: Analyzing actual results against the budget, and investigating financial and operational variances.
• Manufacturing controlling: Performing Standard Cost calculations and detailed analysis of manufacturing costs.
• Business decision support: Preparing ad-hoc profitability calculations and analyses, and shaping financial data into business recommendations.
• Efficiency improvement: Identifying opportunities to develop profitability, cost efficiency, and operational performance.
• Strategic partnering role: Supporting Production Management as a strong business partner in achieving financial targets.
• International cooperation: Maintaining contact and ensuring alignment between co-departments, central functions

What is definitely required to perform the tasks:

• Relevant higher education degree in finance, accounting, economics, or another relevant field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience gained in the field of manufacturing/production controlling
• Relevant experience in budget planning and cost calculation methodologies
• SAP knowledge, SAP HANA is an advantage
• High-level MS Office knowledge, Power BI knowledge is an advantage
• Active English language knowledge
• Proactive attitude, confident presence, stakeholder management experience
