About the Role

On behalf of VCT Europe, we are now looking for a Business Controller & Analyst to join the Finance team in Stockholm.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will play a key role in supporting the Nordic and Distributor business through high-quality financial planning, forecasting, and commercial analysis. You will own the financial models, reporting, and insights that support strategic decision-making, while partnering closely with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain.

This is a hands-on role combining FP&A and Commercial Finance, where you will take ownership from analysis to delivery. You will build robust financial models, evaluate business opportunities, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations that improve profitability and business performance.

Key focus areas

• Own and drive the monthly forecasting process while supporting the annual budgeting and planning cycle, ensuring reliable and actionable financial forecasts.
• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams, providing commercial insights and financial analysis that support business decisions and challenge assumptions.
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models covering sales, pricing, mix, FX, logistics, and costs to improve forecasting accuracy and business understanding.
• Deliver insightful profitability analysis across customers, brands, and channels, identifying opportunities to improve margins and commercial performance.
• Develop and evaluate business cases for new products, commercial initiatives, and strategic investments, while monitoring performance against assumptions.
• Prepare monthly management reporting and Business Reviews, translating financial data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvements in forecasting, reporting, automation, and data quality by leveraging tools such as Power BI, Power Query, and Anaplan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience within FP&A, Commercial Finance, Business Controlling, or a similar analytical finance role.
• Experience from an FMCG or other commercial business environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset and the ability to translate data into business recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decision-making across functions.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience working with planning and reporting tools such as Power BI, Power Query, and Anaplan is considered an advantage.
