Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Business Controller to support business leaders with financial planning, performance monitoring, and implementation of group finance policies. The Business Controller will act as a strategic partner to management. This role will work closely with sales and operations to optimize financial outcomes and ensure alignment with corporate guidelines. This role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to translate data into insights that support decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Forecasting

• Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting process across all business units and departments, including preparation, consolidation, and review of P&L, Capex, and Working Capital. Challenge key assumptions and ensure budgets are realistic, aligned with business targets, and compliant with Group guidelines.
• Define and track strategic KPIs aligned with business objectives.
• Analyze economic, operational, and productivity trends to forecast future performance.

Business & Financial Analysis

• Monitor P&L, cost structures, pricing trends, customer segmentation, and profitability.
• Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions for deviations from the plan.
• Collaborate with departments on cost optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives.

Reporting

• Conduct monthly performance reviews and deliver reforecasting when necessary.
• Manage month-end and quarterly closing reports, performance dashboards, and KPIs.
• Provide clear financial storytelling with variance analysis and corrective action plans.
• Support ad-hoc reports and strategic presentations for management.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and group guidelines (Capex, Coupa, etc.).
• Support audit readiness and improve process transparency.
• Promote data-driven decision-making via Power BI and other BI tools.

Business Partnership

• Act as a key liaison across departments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Lead initiatives to drive business transformation and continuous improvement.
• Support business leaders by recommend and implement corrective actions to align costs with targets and activity levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial/business controlling or FP&A roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in PowerPoint, excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in multinational or matrix organizations is a plus.
• Good command of Thai and English.
• Able to work effectively in cross-cultural and international environments.
• Business-oriented mindset with the ability to connect financial data with operational impact.
