Business Controller (Interim)

Camino Search is currently working with a leading private equity-backed technology platform seeking an experienced Interim Business Controller to join the business on an interim basis for 6 months.

Within this role, you will take ownership of all consolidated financial reporting and professionalise reporting processes for the business alongside a CEO. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful financial information that supports strategic decision‑making.

WEEKLY INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL WILL BE REQUIRED

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated accounts
• Ownership of FP&A and commercial finance
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes, systems, and controls
• Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and cashflow
• Partner with senior leadership to provide high‑quality analysis and comment
• Support key finance transformation initiatives
• Support acquisition integration
• Manage relationships with external auditors and key finance stakeholders

About You

• Qualified accountant, practice preference
• Strong commercial finance/FP&A experience
• Knowledge of SaaS metrics
• Proven background in group reporting within a multi‑entity environment
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Confident communicator with strong leadership capacity
