Business Dev. -Junior Route Development Specialist

Junior Route Development Specialist supports the planning, development, and optimization of electric bus (e-bus) services by providing data-driven geospatial analysis, demand forecasting, and strategic insights. The role is responsible for evaluating existing and potential routes and schedules, assessing operational and infrastructure requirements, analyzing passenger travel patterns, and supporting the implementation of sustainable, low-carbon public transport initiatives. Working closely with corporate shuttle service clients, land developers, infrastructure developers, transport operators, and other stakeholders, the position contributes to expanding accessible, efficient, and environmentally sustainable e-bus networks.

Key Responsibilities
Route Planning & Market Analysis

● Plots and develops routes and schedules for new and existing projects.

● Evaluates travel demand, passenger origin-destination patterns, ridership trends, and service coverage to support route planning and network expansion.

● Assesses route feasibility, operational performance, and service efficiency by analyzing all available and relevant data.

● Develops route proposals to support the deployment and expansion of electric bus services.

● Identifies opportunities for multimodal integration with rail, conventional buses, active transport, and other public transport systems to improve network connectivity.

Data Analysis & Forecasting

● Analyzes ridership, fleet operations, charging infrastructure utilization, travel times, and service reliability to support operational improvements.

● Develops forecasting models for passenger demand, fleet requirements, charging capacity, and service performance.

● Designs and maintains the dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for route development using business intelligence tools such as Google Sheets and Data Studio/Power BI/Tableau.

● Develops and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ridership, on-time performance, and asset utilization.

Reporting & Planning Support

● Produces regular reports on ridership, route performance, charging infrastructure and network development.

● Monitors transport databases for accuracy, quality, integrity, and consistency of operational and planning data.

● Supports the continuous improvement of planning methodologies, forecasting models, and reporting systems for electric bus operations.

● Monitors emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in electric mobility, sustainable transport, and intelligent transport systems (ITS) to support innovation and continuous improvement

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php33,000.00 per month
