Business Development Analyst

An entrepreneurial private equity firm is seeking a Business Development Analyst to help drive acquisition sourcing efforts for a high-growth portfolio company.

This is a relationship-focused role centered on identifying and engaging business owners, generating new acquisition opportunities, and supporting a highly active M&A strategy. The ideal candidate enjoys outbound business development, building relationships, and operating in a performance-driven environment.

What You'll Do

• Identify and research prospective acquisition targets
• Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
• Build relationships with business owners and industry professionals
• Qualify opportunities and gather key business information
• Maintain CRM records and manage an active pipeline
• Partner closely with leadership and M&A professionals on growth initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 0-5 years of experience in sales, business development, sourcing, or a related field
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable making outbound calls and managing high activity levels
• Experience using CRM and prospecting tools
• Highly motivated, competitive, and entrepreneurial mindset
• Bachelor's degree preferred
