BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ANALYST

JOB SUMMARY:

The Business Development Analyst is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, conducting market and financial analysis, and supporting the expansion of cold storage operations across the Philippines. The role focuses on client acquisition, market research, operational feasibility studies, pricing analysis, and strategic partnerships within industries such as food manufacturing, agriculture, meat processing, seafood, pharmaceuticals, and logistics.

The position plays a key role in driving occupancy, revenue growth, and long-term customer relationships for cold storage facilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Business Development & Sales Support

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for cold storage warehousing and logistics services.
• Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis within the Philippine cold chain industry.
• Generate and qualify leads from industries requiring temperature-controlled storage.
• Assist in preparing business proposals, service presentations, and client pitches.
• Support negotiations and contract discussions with prospective clients.
• Maintain and update customer databases and sales pipelines.

2. Market & Financial Analysis

• Analyze market trends, pricing strategies, and customer demand.
• Prepare financial models, revenue projections, and feasibility studies for new cold storage projects.
• Monitor occupancy rates, storage utilization, and revenue performance.
• Evaluate profitability of accounts and recommend pricing adjustments when necessary.
• Provide periodic reports and strategic recommendations to management.

3. Client & Partnership Management

• Build relationships with customers, logistics providers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure customer requirements are properly addressed.
• Assist in resolving commercial concerns and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Explore strategic partnerships that can expand business opportunities.

4. Operational Coordination

• Work closely with warehouse, logistics, and operations teams regarding customer requirements.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Participate in project planning for expansion or new facility development.

5. Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
• Maintain accurate documentation of proposals, contracts, and customer records.
• Present business insights and recommendations to management.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Atleast 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales analysis, logistics, warehousing, or cold chain operations
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Knowledge of cold chain industry standards and temperature-controlled logistics
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory systems
• Strong data analysis and forecasting capability
• Must be willing to assigned in Marilao, Bulacan
