Business Development Analyst-Pharma

About the Company

A leading pharmaceutical company in Egypt is seeking to hire a Business Development Analyst.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Lead the preliminary evaluation of new opportunities or ideas, conducting initial research, financial analysis, and recommendations on next steps (or dismissal) to expand the product portfolio in the Middle East, supporting the company’s strategic growth initiatives in international markets.
• Prepare and maintain updated comprehensive business development reports and pipeline dashboards, using insights to improve the efficiency and impact of strategic decision-making.
• Conduct market intelligence reports to assess the viability of new business opportunities. Identify potential regional partners, market trends, and growth drivers within assigned markets/territories.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Legal, Regulatory, Finance, and Operations, via Organizing and attending meetings. Take comprehensive notes, summarize discussions, and track next steps.
• Contribute to the creation of strategic business cases and financials to support the structuring, due diligence, and negotiation of business development deals that align with the company’s long-term goals and commercial strategy
• Ensure all analyses and business activities comply with industry regulations, internal governance policies, and ethical business practices.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, or Science.
2. Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, including at least 3 years in a relevant position or consulting and strategy.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
4. Demonstrates a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions.
5. Strong analytical, research and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to addressing compliance risks.
6. Effective interpersonal skills with proven experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
7. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure thorough risk assessment and mitigation .
