Help More People Find Recovery with Bridging the Gap

At Bridging the Gap, we believe recovery is possible for everyone. We are seeking a strategic, relationship-driven professional to help grow our impact throughout the community and healthcare landscape.

This position combines business development, community engagement, and referral relationship management. The ideal candidate is someone who can identify opportunities for growth, develop and strengthen referral partnerships, analyze market trends, and create initiatives that increase awareness, engagement, and qualified admissions inquiries.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who enjoys building meaningful relationships while helping individuals and families access life-changing treatment services.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic outreach and business development initiatives that increase referrals and admissions opportunities.
  • Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, behavioral health professionals, EAPs, community organizations, and other referral sources.
  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities, referral trends, service gaps, and new partnership possibilities.
  • Develop innovative strategies to increase community engagement, referral partner participation, and qualified inquiries.
  • Represent Bridging the Gap at networking events, conferences, professional meetings, and community presentations.
  • Track outreach activities, referral trends, conversion rates, and business development outcomes.
  • Collaborate with leadership, admissions, marketing, and clinical teams to align outreach efforts with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for referral partners, prospective clients, and family members.
  • Support admissions follow-up and relationship management with key referral sources.
  • Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, Behavioral Health, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, healthcare outreach, provider relations, behavioral health marketing, admissions, or strategic partnership development.
  • Demonstrated success building professional relationships and generating measurable growth opportunities.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience analyzing data, market trends, and referral patterns to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and reporting tools.
  • Passion for helping individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health challenges.
  • Ability to pass required background and drug screenings.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success is measured not only by the relationships you build, but by the impact those relationships create. You'll help expand community awareness, strengthen referral networks, increase qualified admissions inquiries, and develop innovative approaches that connect more individuals with the care they need.

Why Join Us?

  • Make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families every day.
  • Help shape the growth and future direction of a respected behavioral health organization.
  • Work alongside a passionate, mission-driven team dedicated to recovery.
  • Enjoy autonomy, creativity, and the opportunity to implement your ideas.
  • Build a rewarding career where community impact and professional growth go hand in hand.

If you're a strategic relationship-builder who enjoys identifying opportunities, creating partnerships, and helping organizations grow while making a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you.
