The Business Development & Community Relations Representative will represent DignCare throughout the Denver Metro area and surrounding communities.
The successful candidate will independently develop and maintain relationships with potential referral partners, identify new business opportunities, represent DignCare at appropriate community events, and maintain an active business-development pipeline.
This is a flexible part-time position with a combination of community outreach and dedicated administrative/office hours for planning, follow-up, prospect research, communication, and CRM documentation.
The position requires independence, effective time management, efficient planning of community outreach activities, and accountability for agreed-upon goals and results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain professional referral relationships with senior living communities, hospitals, rehabilitation providers, hospice organizations, senior placement professionals, case managers, social workers, faith communities, senior centers, healthcare professionals, and other community partners.
- Conduct regular in-person visits with prospective and existing referral partners.
- Identify and pursue new referral, partnership, and community outreach opportunities.
- Independently plan efficient weekly outreach activities and community visits.
- Represent DignCare at networking events, community programs, professional meetings, and educational events.
- Educate referral partners and community members about DignCare's home care services.
- Generate qualified prospective-client referrals and coordinate timely handoff to the DignCare Administrator for consultation and assessment.
- Maintain consistent and professional follow-up with referral sources and prospective partners.
- Maintain timely and accurate CRM documentation of business-development activities, contacts, follow-ups, opportunities, and outcomes.
- Assist with appropriate website and digital marketing activities.
- Support DignCare-sponsored community education and outreach initiatives.
- Track referral sources and help identify which activities are generating qualified leads and new clients.
- Provide regular updates regarding pipeline activity, opportunities, barriers, community feedback, and results.
What Success Looks Like
The successful candidate will receive clear goals, appropriate tools and resources, and measurable performance expectations.
Performance will include:
- Building new qualified referral relationships
- Maintaining consistent contact with referral partners
- Completing regular in-person community outreach
- Participating in relevant networking and community events
- Generating qualified client leads and assessment opportunities
- Converting business-development activity into new client opportunities
- Maintaining timely and accurate CRM documentation
- Demonstrating measurable growth in DignCare's referral pipeline
Performance expectations will be supported through structured 30-, 60-, and 90-day goals and ongoing performance review.
Qualifications
We place significant value on relevant experience, demonstrated results, professional reputation, and community relationships.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience in business development, sales, community relations, healthcare marketing, senior living, home care, hospice, senior placement, healthcare, or related senior services.
- Knowledge of the Denver Metro senior-care and healthcare community.

Who We Are Looking For
This opportunity may be especially well suited for an experienced senior living, healthcare, home care, hospice, senior placement, community relations, or sales professional seeking a flexible part-time opportunity while remaining active in the senior-services community.
Formal education is not the primary consideration for this position. Relevant experience, professional relationships, demonstrated results, initiative, and the ability to represent DignCare effectively in the community are more important to us.
We are looking for someone who can work independently, build genuine professional relationships, identify opportunities, follow through consistently, and take ownership of DignCare's community-development efforts.
DignCare will provide the platform, tools, resources, support, and clear expectations. You will bring the experience, initiative, relationships, consistency, and community presence that help turn those resources into sustainable growth.
