Business Development & Marketing Executive

About the role

The position is to oversee and develop Business Development & marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the company's products, services, campaigns or events that align with consumer behaviour patterns and business goals.

Essential Functions

• Achieve strategic business objectives through monitoring and analysing market, competition and sector trends.
• Planning and execution of effective market research, marketing strategies, events and activities.
• Setting and managing creative budgets, planning and coordinating events and training courses, conducting induction presentations, ensuring good maintenance of feedback system and post-event/ training report analysis.
• Responsible for organizing and attending marketing events, communications and assisting the sales team with administrative marketing/ sales support.
• Overseeing the creative production of advertising and marketing campaigns, including filming, photography, voiceover recordings, design, print, production and distribution
• Brand strategy, including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short as well as long term
• Creating and managing promotional collateral to establish and maintain product branding
• Measure and report the performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
• Planning digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising
• Optimize content for the website and social networking channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.
• Design, develop and update sales & marketing content in the form of factsheets, presentations, brochures, special reports and sales aids
• Ensure materials are accurate and available for the sales team
• Work closely with product specialists to develop impactful marketing materials for the promotion of new and current products
• Ensuring compliance with current regulations on all marketing materials and promotions

Essential Competencies

1.      Degree in Marketing or Engineering

2.      Experienced in marketing/communications/events/media/digital marketing-related role for engineering and/or technologies products/solutions

3.      Strong competence in using the latest communication/multimedia tools for office admin and mass communications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Design Suite and Macromedia Web Design Suite, Dreamweaver etc. and social media platform

4.      Good knowledge, qualifications and experience in the Design, Engineering or Manufacturing or IT Industry are advantageous.

5.      Excellent command of English, ability to communicate and articulate thoughts and ideas concisely.

6.      Excellent presentation and communication skills.

7.      Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
