Business Development Assistant – AI Infrastructure & Data Center

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Assistant to support our BD team in identifying, engaging, and growing relationships with AI-focused technology clients. This is an ideal entry point for fresh graduates passionate about AI, cloud computing, and data centers who want to build a career in business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the BD team in prospecting, qualifying, and developing AI technology clients through multi-channel outreach (email, calls, LinkedIn, industry events, and referrals)
• Research and map target accounts across the AI, data center, and cloud services sectors; maintain up-to-date market and prospect intelligence
• Assist in preparing client-facing materials, including pitch decks, proposals, quotations, and meeting minutes
• Coordinate and participate in client meetings, product demos, and industry conferences; track action items and advance opportunities through the pipeline
• Maintain and update CRM records (contacts, pipeline data, activity logs) and prepare weekly reports for the BD team
• Collaborate with sales, solutions, and marketing teams to align outreach strategies and deliver a seamless client experience
• Travel as needed (domestic and/or international) to support client visits, exhibitions, and partnership meetings
• Stay current on AI industry trends, cloud technologies, and data center market developments

Qualifications

Must-have:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, Economics, Management, or a related field; fresh graduates are welcome
• Fluent in Chinese and English (both written and spoken) — professional working proficiency in English for drafting materials and communicating with international clients
• Genuine interest in and basic knowledge of the AI industry, data centers, and cloud services (e.g., cloud computing concepts, AI infrastructure)
• Strong learning ability — able to quickly grasp new technologies and industry knowledge
• Highly adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable reaching out to and building rapport with new contacts
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks at once
• Willingness to travel (domestic and/or international)

Nice to have:

• Internship or project experience in sales, business development, consulting, or a tech company
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, etc.) and the data center ecosystem
• Experience with LinkedIn outreach, cold outreach, or social selling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools
