Business Development Associate

Talent Connect Australia is partnering with a leading medical indemnity insurer to find a Business Development Associate for a NSW-based role, with some operational support responsibilities alongside the BD focus.

This is primarily a relationship and growth-focused role in the NSW market, with genuine scope to extend into South Australia as the business builds out its national market share - there's currently no BD presence in Adelaide, and this role has real potential to help shape what that expansion looks like.

What you'll be doing

• Building and managing stakeholder relationships to drive business development in NSW
• Supporting the business's national growth strategy, with future scope to extend BD activity into SA
• Providing operational support - finding efficiencies in current processes alongside the relationship-building work
• Acting as a key point of contact across internal and external stakeholders

What you'll bring

• Insurance industry experience — essential
• Tier 2 (no personal advice) accreditation — not essential; full training provided, achievable within a month
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder communication skills
• Comfort balancing BD-focused work with operational tasks
