Business Development Associate

Overseeing and ensuring that all daily activity in the sub custodian account is properly reflected in the client's unclaimed property database included supporting post-trading processing, Corporate Action, and settlement operations, working with related department.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE

Responsibilities:

• Drive strategic partnership projects from opportunity assessment and planning through execution and launch, ensuring both parties create greater value together.
• Work closely with partners to identify the optimal business solution, operating model, and launch timeline, balancing commercial objectives, customer experience, technology, operations, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop clear project plans, milestones, dependencies, and contingency plans while adapting quickly when circumstances or requirements change.
• Coordinate across leadership, Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Legal, global teams, and external partners to drive decisions and execution.
• Proactively identify roadblocks and find practical alternative solutions rather than allowing constraints to delay progress.
• Manage projects requiring regulatory review or approval, working closely with Compliance and relevant stakeholders to prepare submissions and coordinate with the SEC where required.
• Build strong partner relationships, identify new business opportunities, and initiate projects that support sustainable business growth.
• Monitor project progress, risks, and key decisions and provide clear updates and recommendations to management.
• Manage relevant project, partner, and vendor documentation and processes.
• Support other strategic business development initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, project management, or related roles; financial services experience is preferred.
• Strong planning and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and timelines.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, flexible, and highly adaptable, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and changing circumstances.
• Strong commercial judgment with the ability to balance business opportunity, regulatory requirements, and execution feasibility.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Thai and English; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
