What they need
About the Role:
We are seeking passionate and dynamic individuals to join our team as Business Development Associates (MBBS Abroad). At Leverage Edu, our BDAs serve as trusted advisors and first points of contact for students aspiring to pursue MBBS overseas. From helping them shortlist the right-fit universities and countries to ensuring a smooth admission and enrollment process, you will play a pivotal role in turning their dream of studying medicine abroad into reality.
As a BDA, you will be responsible for managing the entire student journey driving engagement, building trust, and delivering an exceptional experience throughout their association with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Student Management:
Own and manage a portfolio of students — from the first counseling session to successful enrollment. Conduct onboarding, regular check-ins, and ensure overall satisfaction and success.
- Expert Counselling & Guidance:
Develop in-depth knowledge of global MBBS programs, eligibility criteria, admission processes, documentation, and exam requirements (NEET, IELTS, etc.).
- Relationship Building:
Build and nurture trusted relationships with students and parents as their go-to guide throughout the MBBS abroad journey.
- Application & Admission Tracking:
Coordinate with internal teams to monitor and track each student’s application progress, ensuring timely submission and resolution of any bottlenecks.
- Post-Admission Coordination:
Liaise with the Visa, Documentation, and University Relations teams to ensure a seamless transition from offer to enrollment.
- Sales & Conversion Strategy:
Implement effective outreach and sales strategies to drive student conversions and consistently achieve intake targets.
What You Bring:
- A graduate or MBA degree in business, management, psychology, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience (experience in education counseling, study abroad, or ed-tech preferred).
- Strong sales, communication, and negotiation skills with a student-first approach.
- Excellent research and presentation abilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills — confident in explaining and persuading effectively.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills with the ability to perform under deadlines.
What We Offer:
- Industry-leading perks and benefits.
- A phenomenal work environment with high ownership and growth opportunities.
- A young, vibrant team across tech, marketing, and operations.
- A fast-paced, performance-driven culture with quick learning and iteration.
- Opportunities to lead teams and explore managerial growth in the future.
- Access to a world-class mentorship network.
- The opportunity to make a direct and life-changing impact on students aspiring to pursue medicine abroad.
Note: This is a full-time, office-based role with a six-day work week.
