Business Development Clerk

About the role

This role involves managing and maintaining accurate Job Orders and Customer Orders in the system, verifying pricing and order details, and coordinating shipment and logistics activities across internal and external platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate Job Orders (JO) and Customer Orders (CO) in the system
• Verify customer order unit prices and order revisions when required
• Update committed delivery dates through the Supplier Portal
• Update shipment details in the Customer Shipment Portal
• Process and follow up on Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
• Prepare and consolidate daily shipment lists for the Logistics team
• Share daily shipment documents with customers in a timely manner
• Prepare daily Customer Order reports
• Split Customer Order (CO) lines when partial shipments are scheduled
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all records are up to date

About you

• Minimum SPM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Email
• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good communication and follow-up skills
• Experience in order processing, customer service, logistics, or manufacturing administration is an added advantage
• Familiarity with ERP systems and customer/supplier portals is preferred
