Business Development

About the role

As a key team member, the Business Development Officer supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of business development initiatives. This role involves working closely with Business Development Managers, the Senior Manager of Business Development, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects, including new business ventures, M&A activities, and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting feasibility studies, market research, and competitive analyses to support business initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, operations, finance, procurement, legal, etc.) to gather and validate project requirements.
• Prepare detailed project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, and status reports, to ensure clarity and alignment among stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules and timelines, tracking progress and addressing delays.
• Monitor project risks and proactively identify potential issues or bottlenecks.
• Implement effective measures to mitigate risks under the guidance of Business Development Manager and Senior Manager.
• Support the execution of assigned business development projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and strategic goals.
• Facilitate coordination between internal teams and external vendors or partners to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in collecting and analyzing data to identify market trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support Business Development activities in stakeholder engagement by preparing presentations, status updates, and other communication materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business development, business analysis, commercial analytics, project coordination, process improvement, digital transformation, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant project management tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Thai.
• Proactive and willing to take initiative.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.
