Business Development

About the role

You will own the full business development efforts end-to-end, from identifying potential enterprise customers, developing the approach strategy, reaching out, creating content and proposals, to building relationships and converting opportunities. Target customers are enterprise companies in Indonesia and Japan, so the ability to speak and write Japanese is important.

This role is contract based, work from anywhere as long as you have internet connection. The contract might be converted into full time role based on your performance in onboarding new clients and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research potential enterprise customers in Indonesia and Japan
• Own the full customer approach cycle from initial outreach, follow-up, and onboarding
• Create content in Japanese and Bahasa Indonesia for social media and other channels
• Develop required proposals, presentations, and business materials
• Build and maintain relationships with potential customers and partners
• Help shape the company's business development strategy, and go-to-market approach

About you

• Minimum D3 degree, any major
• Able to speak and write Japanese (JLPT N3 equivalent)
• Love writing, creating content, and developing proposals
• Strong communication, initiative, and willingness to learn
• B2B sales, marketing, or business development experience is preferred
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership in a startup environment
