India's critical digital infrastructure needs database technologies that combine enterprise-grade performance with security, scalability and technological sovereignty.

𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗸𝘁𝗶𝗗𝗕 is IITM Pravartak's indigenous, PostgreSQL-based enterprise database platform, built for government, financial services and other mission-critical environments.

The technology is ready. The opportunity now is to take it to scale.

We are looking for a Business Development Director who can lead that journey - build the market, open doors, create strategic relationships and, most importantly, win significant enterprise and government customers.

This is not about selling another enterprise software product.

It is an opportunity to help build an Indian enterprise technology platform with the potential for large-scale adoption across businesses and government - backed by the technology and innovation ecosystem of 𝗜𝗜𝗧𝗠 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗸, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗜𝗧 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘀.

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿

Someone who has:

 - A strong track record of winning large enterprise technology / solution deals

 - The ability to engage CXOs, technology leaders and senior government stakeholders

 - Experience in databases, infrastructure, cloud or enterprise software - highly relevant

 - Government / PSU sales experience - a strong advantage

 - A highly collaborative style and strong achievement orientation

 - The entrepreneurial drive to build a business, not merely manage a sales function

And importantly, someone for whom 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲.
