Business Development Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:

• First Sale

  • Co-ordination with project owners | consultants to identify product sales opportunities.
  • Preparation and submission of techno-commercial proposals.
  • Co-ordination, meeting and presentation to client | consultant | owner for approval of concept proposal.
  • To prepare BOQ of materials and detailed technical specification for tender purpose.

• Downstream Sales

  • Sales of products with alternative specifications.
  • Co-ordination with consultants | contractors for approval of products

• Work closely with the technical team and management for preparation of cost estimates.

• Co-ordination, meeting and presentation to project owners | consultants | contractors.

• Co-ordination with distribution partners and applicators.

• Maintain high standard of personal safety in the workplace, advise safety hazards to include risks while designing proposals.

• Reporting as required and advised.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Tech Civil is preferred with relevant experience.

• Minimum 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in the following:

  • B2B Product sales
  • Specification sales

• Knowledge:

  • Market
  • B2B sales techniques

• Skills:

  • Communication Skill in English
  • Computer efficiency, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Confident negotiator and ability to 'close the deal'
  • Strong client management skills
