Tradelane & Overseas Agent Coordinator

Job Purpose

To develop and strengthen overseas agent networks and tradelanes to support business growth and improve international freight opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Overseas Agent Development

• Build and maintain relationships with overseas freight agents and partners.
• Source and evaluate new overseas agents for strategic tradelanes.
• Follow up on cargo opportunities, nominations, and routing support.

2. Tradelane Support

• Support sales team with tradelane pricing and routing solutions.
• Coordinate with overseas agents on rates, schedules, and shipment requirements.
• Monitor tradelane performance and identify growth opportunities.

3. Market & Network Coordination

• Research market trends and competitor activities.
• Maintain overseas partner database and internal tradelane information.
• Participate in network meetings and overseas communications when required.

4. Reporting

• Prepare monthly tradelane performance reports.
• Track shipment volumes and business opportunities from overseas agents.

Qualifications

• Experience in Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation (1 year or lesser)
• Knowledge of Import/Export procedures and documentation
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is preferred
